Vic: Free Fairfax newspaper hits Melbourne streets tomorrow

Melbourne commuters should have free Fairfax-published newspapers pressed on them tomorrow
morning as a newspaper war with News Ltd hots up.

Editor of the new Fairfax publication, ANDREW HOLDEN, says the Melbourne Express will
hit the streets with the first public transport users early tomorrow.

The company, that also publishes Melbourne broadsheet, The Age, plans to distribute
the new free paper outside most of Melbourne's railway stations.
