QLD:Rudd's daughter defends her dad

Former prime minister KEVIN RUDD's daughter says she wants to stand up to the bullies
who cut down a man .. who worked his guts out for the country.

In a 13-hundred word article for women's magazine .. Madison .. JESSICA RUDD has defended
her father .. saying he's driven by compassion and empathy .. and isn't an angry man.

She says when people sledge him .. she wants to sledge them.

A spokesman for Mr RUDD says he's recovering well in hospital after an operation to
remove his gall bladder.
